Monkey Forest Ubud
Well known as hiMonkey Forest Ubud, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey, scientific name Macaca fascicularis. It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. About 749 monkeys live in this sanctuary. They are divided into 6 groups, namely in front of main temple group, forest conservation group, central point group, eastern group, Michelin group, and cemeteries group.
The Monkey Forest Ubud has 3 temples, namely Dalem Agung Padangtegal Temple, Holy Spring Temple and Prajapati Temple. The forest is owned by the Padangtegal community and is managed by Mandala Suci Wenara Wana Management. The purpose of the management is to keep sacred the place and promote the Monkey Forest Ubud as an international tourist destination.

Dikenal sebagai HiMonkey Forest Ubud, adalah tempat perlindungan dan habitat alami Monyet ekor panjang Bali, nama ilmiah Macaca fascicularis. Terletak di Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. Sekitar 749 monyet hidup di tempat perlindungan ini. Mereka terbagi dalam 6 kelompok, yaitu di depan kelompok candi induk, kelompok pelestarian hutan, kelompok titik tengah, kelompok timur, kelompok Michelin, dan kelompok pemakaman.
Monkey Forest Ubud memiliki 3 pura, yaitu Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal, Pura Mata Air Suci dan Pura Prajapati. Hutan tersebut dimiliki oleh masyarakat Padangtegal dan dikelola oleh Manajemen Mandala Suci Wenara Wana. Tujuan dari pengelolaan tersebut adalah untuk menjaga keramatnya tempat tersebut dan mempromosikan Monkey Forest Ubud sebagai tujuan wisata internasional.
