Uluwatu Temple (Pura Uluwatu)
Uluwatu Temple (Balinese: Pura (Luhur) Uluwatu) is a Balinese Hindu sea temple (Pura Segara) located in Uluwatu. The temple is regarded as one of the sad kahyangan and is dedicated to Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in his manifestation as Rudra.
The temple (pura in Balinese) is built at the edge (ulu) of a 70-meter-high (230 ft) cliff or rock (watu) projecting into the sea. In folklore, this rock is said to be part of Dewi Danu's petrified barque.

Pura Uluwatu
Pura Uluwatu (Bali: Pura (Luhur) Uluwatu) adalah pura laut Hindu Bali (Pura Segara) yang terletak di Uluwatu. Pura tersebut dianggap sebagai salah satu kahyangan sedih dan dipersembahkan kepada Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa dalam perwujudannya sebagai Rudra.
Pura dalam bahasa Bali ini dibangun di tepi (ulu) tebing atau batu (watu) setinggi 70 meter (230 kaki) yang menjorok ke laut. Dalam cerita rakyat, batu ini konon merupakan bagian dari barque yang membatu milik Dewi Danu.
